ItineraryWe will go to the reef while our experienced, trained and certified guide gives us the explanation of how to use the equipment, our guide will show us the magnificence of these shallow reefs, you will see a variety of fish and different types of coral and then enjoy the famous Tikinxic grilled fish lunch.

Private Sunset Cruise

The waters of Isla Mujeres is one of the best places to watch our beautiful sunsets. The trip begins with a little snorkeling in one of our incredible coral reefs for 30 minutes where we can find many colorful fish and variety of coral. We’ll continue our journey through the Bay of Isla Mujeres, where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a bottle of wine, ice cold beer and snacks while watching the sky turn from blue to fiery orange as the tropical sun nears the horizon.

Isla Contoy
National Park
If you like to be in touch with nature this is an adventure you cannot miss! Isla Contoy is a small island located 28 kilometers north of Isla Mujeres, the island is 8.75km long and 200 to 500m wide. Since 1961 it has been under the protection of the Mexican government and it was declared a national park in 1998. Isla Contoy is rich in flora and fauna, 98 species of plants have been counted, the island is a bird sanctuary for the 152 species of birds and tropical marine, such as Frigates, Pelicans, Swallows etc. Due to the nutrients in the water there are many marine species such as lobsters, octopus, shrimp, hawksbills, green turtles and loggerheads, which nest and lay their eggs on the island.
Itinerary
We’ll board at 8:30 am and on the way to Isla Contoy we’ll stop to snorkel at Ixlache reef where we will see a large variety of fish and coral. When we arrive at Isla Contoy, our certified bilingual guide will give us a tour of the island. You’ll have time to explore while we prepare a grilled fresh fish lunch on the beach..

Whale Shark Tours
May – September Only
Come and enjoy the wonderful experience of swimming with the incredible whale sharks! The whale shark is the largest fish in the world, this marine species can measure between 12 and 18 meters and can weigh 21 tons and is estimated to live from 70 to 100 years. Whale sharks migrate to the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean in the months of May to September as our waters are rich in plankton. These beautiful creatures, despite having a large size, are very docile and do not represent any type of danger and it is safe to swim with them.
Itinerary
After a light breakfast we will board the boat at 8:15 am and we’ll arrive at the whale shark area around 45 minutes later.
Our certified CONANP guide will take 2 people at a time to swim with the whale sharks.
As we return to Isla Mujeres we’ll stop for snorkeling and relax with delicious fresh ceviche.

Sailfish Tours
January – March Only
During winter months sailfish arrive just off the waters of Isla Mujeres attracted by the abundance of sardines in the area. Enjoy seeing these majestic fish as they speed by you and feed on sardine “bait balls.” The sailfish work in groups forcing the sardines to form a ball and then they take turns feeding. These remarkable fish change colors from dark blues to bright purple as they try and confuse their prey.
Itinerary
We will board the boat at 7:00 am and head to the open sea where we will begin our adventure. Our captain and trained guide, certified and experienced, will use their maritime skills with the help of birds that soar above the sailfish as they feed, locate the sailfish. Our guide will accompany you in the water as you enjoy this incredible adventure.
